There two categories in the finals of the 2nd Edition of the Upcoming Pastry-Chef Award launched by Síbari Food Service and Reale Seguros Madrid are: ‘Restaurant Pastry Chef’ and ‘Bakery Pastry Chef’
The competition once again recognizes the great work of these professionals within the world of gastronomy.
Reale Seguros Madrid Fusión has chosen the candidates who will compete for the ‘Restaurant Pastry Chef’ and ‘Bakery Pastry Chef’ awards at the 2nd Reale Seguros Madrid Upcoming Pastry-Chef Award launched by Síbari Food Service. Many pastry chefs submitted recipes to compete in both categories of this competition that once again recognizes the great work of these professionals.
The chosen pastry chefs are:
For the Restaurant Pastry Chef category
Laura Elena García Miralrío (Restaurant Bon Amb. Jávea, Alicante)
Lucila Canero (Restaurant Línia. Barcelona)
Pol Contreras (Restaurant Echaurren. Ezcaray, La Rioja)
For the Bakery Pastry Chef category
Ana Jarquín (La Pastisseria. Barcelona)
Puri Morillo (Pastelería Daza. Málaga)
Pablo Morales (Habaziro Concept. A Coruña)
The deadline for submissions was 7 December, and the selection process involved evaluating the complexity and originality of the technical specifications of the recipes as well as the final result in the photographs sent by the participants.
Three important prizes will be awarded for both categories. In fact, those selected are already the winners of the first, second and third places.
The final will be held on Monday, 28 January 2019, on the multi-purpose stage at Reale Seguros Madrid Fusión 2019.
To prepare their desserts, participants will have at their disposal some of the most recognized pastry-making products in the world, distributed in Spain by Síbari Food Service: La Rose Noire, Chocolaterie Michel Cluizel, Elle & Vire and Andros Chef.
