Although she is Venezuelan, born in Caracas, almost all of Andrea Dopico's career has been in Spain.

She started out at Club Allard** and Moments** before representing Spain in the world final of the Chocolate Chef Competition. She then took up a post as head pastry chef at the ABaC*** restaurant. Forbes put her on its “30 Under 30” list in 2017. She continued as pastry chef in Paco Pérez's Alàbriga Hotel before joining Canal Cocina and El Gourmet as a television presenter. In June 2021 she threw herself into the launch of Maison Marcel alongside a Franck Wenz, who shares her cooking and her life.
