Carmen Capote studied Business Administration and Business Management, specialising in Finance, and after years of working in the financial sector, she moved to France where she began her training in the hotel and catering industry, graduating first in her class at Le Cordon Bleu.

She worked in the pastry brigade of the President of France, where she reconciled with chocolate, which she had never tasted again after a childhood binge. 

Her love of chocolate was instilled in her by her father, who had a passion for the product. Whenever he went to pick her up from school, he would buy a bar of chocolate and they would eat it on the way home, it was their special moment of the day. 

In February 2020, after years of training and working as a pastry chef and confectioner, Capote will fulfil her dream by opening her own 24 ounces chocolate and confectionery shop, where she will give free rein to her different, exclusive and distinctive creations.
