Mark Donald
Chef at The Glenturret Lalique** (The Hosh, Crieff, Scotland, UK)

This Scottish chef, who was an actor before cooking crossed his path, pays homage to the larder of his homeland.
Chef Mark Donald is originally from Scotland, and except for some short stints in Copenhagen and London and some time spent in Australia, Mark has always lived in Scotland and cherished his roots.
His restaurant, The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant in Crieff, is nestled at the foothills of the Scottish Highlands on the banks of the River Turret and is the first Michelin-starred restaurant inside a distillery. Mark and his team enjoy the benefits of Scotland's larder on their doorstep and have close ties with artisanal growers, producers, breeders and fishers, often foraging themselves. The menu showcases the very best ingredients from throughout Scotland, the wider UK and, where applicable, beyond.
The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant earned its second Michelin star in February 2024.
