Estela Gutiérrez

Estela followed the family tradition and trained with her father, Pedro Gutiérrez, working in his pastry shop in Cabezón de la Sal (Cantabria).

She arrived in Madrid in 2015 and worked on various projects until she decided to open her own business, a pastry shop called Estela Hojaldre in the Las Letras neighbourhood

From there, Estela defends an artisan pastry shop with a good product. She is convinced that we need to remember the simple and strong flavours of our childhood, which are unfortunately disappearing, especially in the big cities, and she pays tribute to this tradition through puff pastry, a dough that is used to make many of the sweets from her native Cantabria.

In 2021 she won the second prize for the best new pastry chef at the Madrid Fusión.
