Sayuri Ikeda
Owner of CHOSHOKU KISHIN (Kyoto, Japan)

Born and raised in Kamakura, an ancient city surrounded by sea and mountains.
In 2008, Sayuri travelled to Europe with her twin sister and best friend for her graduation and it was there that they had the inspiration that would change their lives. After sharing this experience, they decided to create a house of culture and food in Japan to introduce the young Japanese generation and foreign visitors to their roots.
In September 2011, Sayuri founded Viajes Inc. to create a company with a Spanish name. In 2013 she opened the first shop, House of Culture and Food - Tubomi House Kamakura, and in 2017 the second shop was opened: Breakfast Kishin Kyoto. Soon he will open two more shops in Kyoto and Kamakura.
She is passionate about enriching the lives of people around the world by researching Japanese food culture and adapting it to the new times.
