Fran Segura is one of the most renowned Spanish pastry chefs of his generation. He specialises in chocolate and high-precision pastry techniques.
The founder of his own pastry shop, Fran Segura & Co., he has successfully built a brand around collections of éclairs and other creations, which are sold in his Alicante workshop and online. He also collaborates with Port Hotels, where his creations are served at the iconic El Huerto del Cura hotel, including at its renowned breakfast.
Throughout his career, Segura has received numerous awards in recognition of his talent and creativity, including a silver medal at the 2009 Spanish Chocolate Cup, the 2013 Best Dessert in Spain Award, and medals at the 2014 and 2022 World Pastry and Cooking Cups. He was also named the Third Best Chocolate Cake Maker in the World in 2024. Segura was also recognised as the second best new pastry chef at Madrid Fusión in 2016 and won a silver medal at the European Pastry Competition in the same year.
