In 2024, he was named Spain's Best Master Pastry Chef (MMAPE), winning in all categories of the national competition, including best chocolate cake, petit four, pastry and restaurant dessert. And before that, at Madrid Fusión 2018, he was recognised as Spain's Revelation Pastry Chef.
Heir to a family of bakers, he founded 100% Pan y Pastelería (2007) with his wife Marlene Hernández and today runs 100% Alexis García in Santa Cruz de Tenerife: a project that combines bakery, pastries and haute patisserie with a contemporary and deeply Canarian approach. Self-taught and a regular collaborator with chefs and brands, he has also brought his knowledge to training institutions such as Le Cordon Bleu Madrid and the Carpigiani Gelato University (Italy).
